Emerald Island Resort, 10 minutes to Disney The Emerald Villa in all its glory, 3600 sqft of heated and air conditioned living area with a fully extended pool deck area overlooking stunning views of the lake and woodland preserve. This 5 Star awarded villa comes complete with 7 bedrooms, 5.5 baths and luxury throughout. There is no finer vacation home in Emerald Island The Emerald Villa is set in one of the most sought after sites at the resort. It his one of the largest plots which allows unrivalled peace, quiet and, more importantly, privacy around the pool area and deck. The views from the pool deck at the rear of the villa are southerly facing and offer uninterrupted views overlooking the lake and wetland / woodland preserve beyond Emerald Villa is situated on the prestigious “Emerald Island resort”. This resort has around 700 villas planned but only a few of these are built in the “enclave”. The enclave consists of the largest and more luxurious homes at the resort. The Emerald Villa is sited on an extra large plot, perhaps the largest at the resort The villa has 7 bedrooms, 5˝ bathrooms and it will comfortably sleep 14 + 2 baby cots. It is of the “Palm Harbor” design built by Park Square Homes to a very high standard. All bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms with Masters 1-3 having private and the other 4 each sharing facilities with one other bedroom. The bedrooms are divided into four Master Kings/Queens and three twin rooms. There is also a games room complete with a pool table and air hockey foose-ball and much more besides Situated at the rear of the villa on the ground floor next to the kitchen, Game room, The Red room and with alarmed sliding doors leading out onto the lanai and pool area the Family room is a place to unwind at the end of it all. This area has been furnished with extremely large and comfortable leather sofas and casual furnishings to keep it simple whilst remaining as well appointed as the other roomsThe Family room is equipped with the following
The Country style kitchen comes fully equipped with a range of cooking appliances - large fridge / freezer with ice and cool water dispensers, electric cooker and microwave / grill, toaster, kettle, espresso / cappuccino maker, juicer and everything else we could think of... This large open space has been furnished in a more formal and elegant style. The soft furnishings by the front windows are perfect place to relax with a newspaper or book away from the busy games and what can be a busy Family room. The dining table is great for a special family meal, or simply because you like eating in style... Fancy a game of pool or a quick kick about on the fooseball table? Or maybe air-hockey is more your game? Whatever your fancy - lay down your gauntlet for play and enjoy the challenges of the games room. We have plans to put in an electronic dart board and a large ceiling mounted plasma HDTV in here with sports Satellite TV in High Definition and XBox live on our next visit early in 2006. We are always looking to improve facilities at the villa and this room is a work in progress so watch this space! The Majestic Red Master suite is situated on the ground floor with alarmed doors to the pool area (perfect for an early morning swim) and door through to the Family room this is the largest of the Master suites and first choice for some guests. This room is furnished with a huge kingsize four poster bed with pillow-top quality hypoallergenic bedding. This master suite has it’s own Private bathroom which is the largest at the villa and a large walk in closet with secure safe for your valuables The Decadent Gold Master suite is situated on the first floor above the red room with beautiful views over the pool, lake and nature preserve beyond. The height of luxury this beautiful pecan wood king-size four poster bed is our personal favorite. This room has a private bathroom and door through on to the Gallery landing.... The Imposing Lilac Master suite is located on the First floor at the front of the villa overlooking the resort. This queen size room has a beautiful Greek / Roman style four poster bed and its own private bathroom with seating area and large storage closet..... All bedrooms are equipped with Televisions and media players should guests wish to seek peace and relaxation in the comfort of their own bedroom. It is our aim to please everyone at the villa, not just the thrill seekers, and a 37” HD LCD screen has been added within the quieter formal area away (pictured below) from the busier family and game room areas so those seeking a quieter area can relax in comfort not too far from the busier family areas Perhaps the most alluring feature of the exterior of the villa is the customized pool area with separate spa, lighting and rock waterfall. The pool decking has been extended as much as possible to allow plenty of room for everyone to sit out around the pool enjoying views of the lake and conservation area with its rich wildlife beyond. These images were taken in 2003 and the plants are now far more established adding to the privacy of the area. More pots have also been added and hopefully when we get the new photography and Virtual tour early next year it will look even more inviting. Plenty of comfortable seating and a gas barbecue is provided for those al fresco evenings around the pool.
